The Multipurpose soap is back! The only soap of my repertoire that is crafted with a focus beyond just skin care. It can be used on dishes, clothes and surfaces. It's natural, plastic-free, palm-oil free and vegan, a rare gem in the world of cleaning products. To enhance the formula, I used soapberries infused in water as a base for the soap. According to Wikipedia, Soapberries, also known as soapnuts, contain saponins with surfactant properties. These have been historically used for washing by ancient Asian and American cultures. This indeed confers the soap extra cleansing and antimicrobial power. To use the soap, rub the wet sponge or brush against the soap until it is well foamy and use it to do the dishes, to clean the kitchen, the oven and the bathroom. Apply directly the soap on clothes to pretreat stains or grate it for your laundry. The citrusy essential oil blend not only adds a very nice aroma but also brings antimicrobial properties.
