A few years ago I noticed a little plant in my backyard that I had never seen before. It grew into a beautiful yellow poppy that bloomed for the whole summer and produced many seeds. I planted those seeds and the following year I had more poppies. Now, poppies are naturalised in my backyard and they attract lots of pollinators, especially bumblebees. This soap is my homage to the bumblebees and the poppies in my backyard. I reproduced the (bumble)bees stripes alternating orange layers (carrot and turmeric) with black layers (activated charcoal). I added my favourite scrub agents: poppy seeds from the backyard and orange zest. This soap produces a creamy lather that leaves the skin soft and elastic, well cleansed and purified. The scent is citrusy, sweet and balsamic, like a summer garden.
