I always loved drawing with coloured pencils. This practice has a soothing effect that helps me have creative ideas and sometimes make important decisions. I like the woody smell of a good pencil and the noise of its strokes which vary with the sharpness of the tip, the way one holds it and the pressure applied. In this soap, I tried to reproduce this multi-sensorial experience of drawing with coloured pencils using a technique called 'one pot wonder'. In each piece of soap I see drawings of winter dawns, landscapes and rainbows reflected on a body of water - the suggestions are ever changing. The essential oil blend is strong and energising: woody and earthy accents of patchouli and cedarwood blend perfectly with the sweetness of orange and the spiciness of neroli. Rice starch adds soothing properties to the creamy lather of this soap.
