I made this soap on a rather difficult day a few weeks ago. I used my soapmaking as a grounding practice to reconnect myself with the 'here and now' in a creative manual activity. I needed quiet, gentleness and beauty, so I went for a delicate design, with bright pastel colours in a repeated minute pattern. Upon cutting the soap, a colourful feather revealed itself. The aroma complements the design, with fruity and floral notes, with a mild aftertone of tree bark. A delicate soap for hands and showers. Perfect on a bad day.
