There is always some degree of planning and preparation before I can actually make any of my soaps. I start with 'looking for' some inspiration (or rather an excuse), then I concoct a recipe with the ingredients I have at hand and, finally, I prepare the tools and the mould. This time, the last part was way too ambitious. The circles on the soap were meant to stay round displaying regular patterns, but they ended up looking 'melted down', just like Icarus' wings. Lesson learned? 🤔😅 This soap produces a creamy lather that smells of citrus flowers, tree bark and incense. Refreshing and soothing, a great soap for daily hand washing.
