Cleaning up after soap making often leaves me tired but deeply satisfied, surrounded by soap-stained rags that sometimes resemble abstract paintings. Indeed, soap batter reminds me of paint - pigment suspended in a medium - turning soap making into a form of 3D painting. The design isn’t confined to the surface but it is woven throughout the entire object. Like a painter with a palette of temperas and an empty canvas, I feel the thrill of endless possibilities as I face the soap batter and the empty mould. Tempera Soap celebrates this pictorial side of soap making. With five vibrant colours, I created a palette of combinations, pairing hues and adding puddles of mixed temperas. Perfect for everyday handwashing or showers, it produces a creamy lather that cleanses gently, leaving your skin soft and beautifully fragrant with sweet summer flowers and candies.
